This Gallery came about as the result of the realisation that there are many, many Artists who, for one reason or another, have not yet submitted their works to the all-seeing-eye which, for want of a better description, may be visualised as a composite of the millions of eyes which are likely to view this site over time.
TheeGallery's sole purpose, is to promote - without any charges whatsoever - the works of unknown, but really Talented Artists, and starts with the many Artists & Craftspeople of Historic HARWICH & DOVERCOURT in Essex.
There are no contracts to sign! no payments of any kind to make!
It's fair to say that all Artists need an audience. In this context, TheeGallery is a means to provide that audience who will, without doubt, positively or negatively, appraise works which are on display, and also without doubt, there will be a percentage of the audience who like some of what they see, and will wish to acquire a work or two!
TheeGallery offers "free Space" to Artists who wish to submit their work/s to this greater Audience, without going through the usual practices, such as exhibiting their work/s via local and distant in-hall exhibitions, which usually necessitates the oftimes irksome task of applying protective packaging; loading; travel; then setting up a display, which is subsequently followed by the "packing up" phase, (more physical work!) Perhaps all this for just a few hours of display?
TheeGallery display is continuous for 24hrs a day, 7days a week, and you've hardly lifted a finger!
TheeGallery is divided into different viewing rooms, each viewing room displaying only artworks which fall into the same category, such as:- Paintings; Pottery; Sculptures; woodcraft; glasscraft; needlecraft; etc: some of which will be sub-divided such as
Oil paintings; and Watercolour paintings.
TheeGallery cordially invites any Artist to submit works they would like to sell or, who simply wish their work/s to be displayed for all to see! Naturally, there will be some limitation on the amount of space allotted to each Artist, or group.
TheeGallery reserves the right to scrutinise submitted works, and the selection panel will select only those works which are deemed to be in-keeping with the high standards set by the panel. Ideally...anyone wishing to submit work/s, should initially send good quality Photographs, or e-mail images of their work/s, together with a brief description such as Title; year of completion; size; and price required; or whether for exhibition only, plus name; address; telephone No: and/or e-mail address to:-

A decision to display, or not, will be made within 48hrs of receipt of these details. If the decision is affirmative, TheeGallery will need just a few more details, which can be appended to the item/s to be displayed .
